Ulead Systems

Ulead Systems, Inc. ( with its German subsidiary Ulead Systems GmbH) was founded in 1989 Taiwanese software company, primarily producing software that is used in the broadest sense of image and video processing.

On 17 September 2001 Ulead was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange as 2487.TW.

Ulead was acquired in April 2005 by the company InterVideo, which in turn was bought in August 2006 by the company Corel. On 24 October 2006, the delisting of Ulead shares on the Taiwan Stock Exchange took place.

Among the products of Ulead include Ulead Media Studio Pro ( video editing ), Ulead Photo Impact ( image processing), Ulead Video Studio ( video editing ), Ulead Gif Animator ( production of animated GIFs ) DVD MovieFactory ( writing software), Ulead DVD Workshop ( DVD authoring ), Cool 360 ( stitching) and COOL3D (Simple editing and creation of 3D objects ).
