Ulf Hannerz

Ulf Hannerz ( born June 9, 1942 in Malmö) is a Swedish social anthropologist.

Ulf Hannerz is a professor at Stockholm University and a leading theorist of modern cultural anthropology. His works Cultural Complexity - Studies in the Social Organization of Meaning (New York 1992) and Transnational Connections - Culture, People, Places (London, 1996) are among the classics of Kreolisierungstheorie.
