Ulrich Karger

Ulrich Karger ( born February 3, 1957 in Berchtesgaden ) is a German writer and teacher of religion.

Work

Ulrich Karger was first educators in child and youth recreational facilities and then made a further education for teachers of religion. Since 1984 he teaches at a speech therapy school.

His book publications aimed at children and adults. One of his most successful works is Homer: The Odyssey, a complete retelling of the Odyssey of Homer as a youth book. His picture book text to the witching hour in the kindergarten has been translated into five languages.

In addition, Ulrich Karger was the author and editorial staff of the Austrian Literature Forum and has been writing since 1985 as a freelancer reviews, it initially in instead of newspapers and the former literary Alternatively magazine ulcer Molle info, later, inter alia, in journals such as religion today and in newspapers such as the Berliner newspaper has published. Since 1995, he reviewed mainly for the Tagesspiegel. Karger is a member of the Association of German writer living in Berlin.
