The ultraviolet photography, also called UV photography, refers to the creation of photographs by ultraviolet radiation.

With the aid of ultraviolet photography material properties and radiation spectra are investigated.

Technology

For the ultraviolet photography from photography known visible light films may be used.

However, from the photograph known visible-light lenses can not be used because their lenses absorb ultraviolet radiation, ultraviolet radiation, therefore permeable materials have to be used.
