Ulvi ( German Ulwi ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Avinurme ( Avinurme vald ). It is located in Ida -Viru county (East Wierland ).

Description and History

Ulvi located 30 kilometers northeast of the city Jõgeva ( Laisholm ). The village has 216 inhabitants (as of 2010 ).

The village was first mentioned in records in 1638 under the name Wulffy. It belonged to the castle Lais. Since 1775, there is a school in the village.
