Umut Koçin

Umut Kočín ( born June 2, 1988 in Hamburg) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Clubs

Kočín began at the Hamburg club HT 1816 Hamburg to play football and undertook subsequent to the youth department of Hamburger SV. For the season 2006/ 07 the attacking midfielder came to Arminia Bielefeld, where he primarily was used in the second team in the Oberliga Westfalen. After 28 games and nine goals scored Kočín was transferred at the beginning of the season 2008/ 09 the then reigning Turkish Cup winner Kayserispor in the Süper Lig. After two seasons, he moved to Austria and signed for SV Kapfenberg in the top division. He then spent in Leipzig, where he dissolved his contract in July 2013 for another two years.

In the summer of 2013, he joined the Turkish second division Karşıyaka SK. For the second half of the 2013/14 season he was loaned to Pazarspor.

National

Kočín played between 2005 and 2008 a total of 18 games for the Turkish junior national teams in age groups U- 18 to U- 20th In 2007, he failed in the U-19 selection in the second qualifying round of the U-19 European Championship in Portugal.
