Uncut (magazine)

Uncut, a British music magazine from London, which is distributed throughout the English-speaking world. In Germany it is to get in the train station newsagents and by subscription. By May 2010, the magazine and online in the media sales portal www.morgenheit.de (without shipping costs) are related.

History

The magazine was developed in the late 1990s, following the model of the magazine Mojo. The publisher is IPC Media.

Topics

Besides the emphasis on music, films and books are presented. We discuss both new releases and reissues. Musically, it primarily serves the genres Alternative Country, Rock and Independent, but is open to other genres that might interest the target audience.

The magazine is designed to appeal to sophisticated, more in-depth journalism pop culture friends with intense interest in the genre. Often found as a cover story a multi-page feature about a classic rock band ( Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc.), try to discover the unusual, new details about this band. Several bands, musicians or actors are presented in more detail and there are longer interviews with artists.

Every month, the magazine included a CD of new music or special compilations can be heard. It is made for technical reasons, subscribers in continental Europe but not available.
