Under the Red Sky
Under the Red Sky is the 27th studio album by Bob Dylan. It was produced by Don Was, What David and " Jack Frost" ( Dylan's pseudonym) and released in 1990 on Columbia Records. The dedication "For Gabby Goo Goo ", some children's song -like tracks ( Wiggle Wiggle, Handy Dandy ) and lyrics like "Someday little girl everything for you is gonna be new, someday little girl you'll have a diamond as big as your shoe " suggest that Dylan wrote this album for his then four- year-old daughter.
Despite numerous prominent guest musicians such as David Crosby, Robben Ford, George Harrison, Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Al Kooper, David Lindley, Slash, Jimmie Vaughan and Stevie Ray Vaughan, " Under the Red Sky" was not a commercial success.
