Ungerer Tramway

The train Ungerer was a forerunner of the electric streetcar in Munich. It was by the engineer and owner of Schwabing Würmbades (now Ungererbad ) established August Ungerer ( 1860-1921 ) to connect the bath with 750 meters away terminus of the horse-drawn tram. The 1.2-kilometer route through the former Freising road from Schwabing major host for later Ungererbad was from 1 July 1886 to June 1895 and was one of the first electric trams in Germany. It was replaced on July 17, 1895 due to a lack of capacity by extending the horses train to the newly built North Cemetery.

The power supply was only a few meters to the increased lying end stations as the first electric tram in the world over the rails. So before riding the brakes were released, whereupon the car losrollten due to gravity before they were driving voltage, and were able to continue with electric drive.

The vehicle scales with the clock tower for the two green railcars with gold trim and two summer car was still up to the year 1944.
