Union College is a private university located in Schenectady, New York, USA. At 210 lecturers are about 2200 students.

History

Established in 1795, shortly after the American Revolution, the Union College was one of the first institutions for a university education. It has the remarkable oldest landscaped campus in the United States, designed by the French architect Joseph Ramee, who was in the United States 1812-1816. 1970, female students were first enrolled. 1972 found here on the Union College campus for two weeks filming on Sydney Pollack's film The Way We Were ( German: Just as we were ) with Robert Redford, Barbra Streisand, Bradford Dillman and Lois Chiles in the lead roles instead.

Position

The Union College has an excellent reputation and occupied in 2009, despite its size in the Forbes list of the 26th place among all the colleges in the United States. In a ranking of Bloomberg Businessweek, the University reached the 13th place.
