Union County is a county located in the state of South Carolina in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Union.

Geography

The County is located in northwestern South Carolina, is in the north about 40 miles from North Carolina away and has an area of ​​1336 square kilometers, of which 5 square kilometers is water area. Union County was formed in 1798. It was named after the Union Church.
