Union J

Union J is a British boy band. The band, who first called Triple J, consists of the four members JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley, George Shelley and Josh Cuthbert. In the British version of The X Factor boyband which finished fourth in 2012. They were then taken by Sony Music and RCA Records.

History

James " Jaymi " Hensley and Josh Cuthbert knew each other from the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Jamie " JJ " Hamblett, a former horse jockey, came at the behest of her former manager Julian White so. They called Triple J. 2012, competed in both the trio Triple J and George Shelley for the ninth season of The X Factor. Triple J sang Rihanna We Found Love, Shelley sang an acoustic guitar version of Britney Spears ' Toxic. All members of the jury, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Rita Ora ( which, however, was not present at Shelley's Audition and therefore Shelley no voice forgave ), voted for each of the next round of the singers.

During the boot camp Shelley sang with the two candidates Charlie Cammish and Meg O'Neill Labrinths Earthquake, but managed not to a jury house. Triple J competed against GMD3 is the last remaining place in a jury house. However GMD3 kept the upper hand and snatched the free space. However, after Rough Copy, which was nominated for a jury house, his participation retired at the show, they called on Blair Dreelan, the manager of Triple J and Shelley, and promised the trio a place in the jury house, if you Shelley fourth member receiving in the band. When it became known that the band was nominated for a later jury house, they were in 46 percent of all posts on social media platforms topic of conversation. In week 2 they were mentioned 200,000 times.

During an appearance in Cardiff on December 15, 2012 announced Union J that they had signed a contract with Sony Music. On January 28, 2013 it was confirmed that the band has signed a contract with RCA Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music signed. Their debut single Carry You was played on Capital FM and BBC Radio on April 22, 2013 for the first time and received positive feedback.
