Unión, Montevideo

Unión is a neighborhood ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location

It is located in the central south of the department of Montevideo. Unión borders it to the south of Parque Batlle and Buceo. To the west lie the districts of La Blanqueada, Larrañaga and Mercado Modelo y Bolívar. In the north, close to Villa Española and Maroñas, while in the east Malvín Norte continues the urban area.
