Unit square

Unit square is a mathematical shorthand term for a square with sides of length one. In Cartesian coordinates is usually the square of the vertices (0,0), (1,0), (1,1), (0,1) meant. This is the set of all points such that and both lie between zero and one, ie, the Cartesian product of the closed interval with itself

The unit square has area 1 and the circumference 4 of the length of its diagonal.
