United Nations Security Council Resolution 16
Resolution 16 of the UN Security Council is a resolution that was decided by the United Nations Security Council in the 91st meeting, on 10 December 1947.
Background
Due to conflicts between Italian and Slovenian groups of the neutral state was founded in early 1947 by the Allies. The "free territory", created by the Treaty of Peace with Italy, served as a buffer state and was formally dissolved in 1954 and divided between Italy and Yugoslavia.
