United States presidential election, 1992

The 52 Election of the President of the United States of America was held on 3 November 1992. The governor of Arkansas was elected William Jefferson ( "Bill" ) Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States so that was.

Candidates

Although the incumbent George HW Bush got only 33 percent approval for his policies as president in the polls, he was able to prevail in the primaries and in the Republican nominating convention against Patrick Buchanan.
