Université de Namur ( UNamur ) (English: University of Namur) is since 2012 the name of a French-speaking Catholic University of Namur / Belgium. Prior to its renaming in September 2012, it was known as the Facultés universitaires Notre- Dame de la Paix ( FUNDP ), (translated as university faculties of Our Lady of Peace).

In 1831, founded by the Society of Jesus FUNDP study more than 4000 students. In the disciplines of medicine, computer science, natural sciences, economics and law is both researched and taught. The University is a founding member of the Académie Louvain, the Association of French Catholic universities in Belgium.

The University of Namur consists of six faculties:

  • The Philosophical and Philological Faculty
  • Faculty of Law
  • The Economic and Social Sciences
  • The computer science institute
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences
  • Faculty of Medicine
