The Technical University of Malaysia Malacca ( ​​UTEM ) ( Malaysian Universiti Malaysia Melaka teknikal, English Technical University of Malaysia Malacca ) in Durian Tunggal a place near the city of Malacca, State of Malacca, is a technical state university in Malaysia. It was founded in 2000 as Kolej Universiti Kebangsaan teknikal Malays and is now a university with about 6000 students. The motto of the University is Excellence Through Competency.

History

The college was founded in 2000 as Kolej Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia teknikal ( KUTKM ) to offer technical courses. In 2007, the college received university status.

Organization

The highest authority of Hochschschulleitung is the Board of Directors, which sets the basic direction of the university. The Chancellor is an honorary position and is occupied by a well-known personality, while the full-time management of the University is headed by the Vice-Chancellor.
