The University of Dundee ( University of Dundee English, Latin Universitas Dundensis ) was founded in 1881 as University College and is now the largest university in Dundee in Scotland. The motto of the University is Magnificat anima mea dominum (Latin for My soul magnifies the Lord ) ( Lk 1.46 EU).

History

The University was initially a part of the University of St Andrews, with whom she occasionally used difficult relationships. In 1954, the college was renamed Queen's College and won greater independence. On 1 August 1967, the College was finally declared the independent University of Dundee.

Reputation

University Management

Chancellor

Rector
