University of Macau

The University of Macau ( Portuguese: Universidade de Macau, Chinese澳门 大学, Pinyin Aomen Daxue ), founded in 1981 as University of East Asia, is a public university in China's Macao Special Administrative Region. The University currently offers over 100 degree programs in English, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese, is the premier educational institution of Macao.

In 2011, the university had more than 1,000 employees and more than 8,000 full-time students from 41 countries, making it the largest university in Macau. She has nine partnership agreements with German universities.
