University of New Haven

The University of New Haven is a private university in West Haven, Connecticut on the east coast of the USA.

Meaning in numbers

The university is predominantly on a campus of 339.936 m² on the edge of the city of West Haven. History

Originally founded the university in 1920 as " New Haven YMCA Junior College ", a branch of Northeastern University of Boston. Business administration and engineering education were the main issues. Has worked closely with then Yale University. Whatever was the college in 1926, changed its name since then as the " New Haven College ." Only in 1970, the college was officially recognized by the state as a university, which was in turn connected with a name change to the present name " University of New Haven ."
