University of North Dakota

The University of North Dakota ( also known as ET) is a public university in Grand Forks, east of the U.S. state of North Dakota. It is the oldest university in North Dakota with 13,200 students, the largest. Here is the only medical and law school in the state.

History

The college was founded in 1883 by the Assembly of Dakota Territory, six years before the founding of the State of North Dakota. The current President is Robert Kelley.

Research

2004, the university recruit research funds worth 82.5 million. In May 2006, students have the AND developed a suit for manned space missions to Mars.

Sports

The Sports Team of the Fighting Sioux are AND. The University currently is a member of the Great West Conference, but will move to the Big Sky Conference in 2012.
