The University of Udine ( Friulian: Universitat dal Friûl; Italian: Università degli Studi di Udine; Latin: Universitas Studiorum Utinensis ) is an Italian state university in the city of Udine in Friuli.
The University of Udine has been founded in 1978 in the context of the Alps- Adriatic and with regard to autonomy needs in the region as a bilingual university, and now has nearly 16,000 students.
