University of Wolverhampton

The University of Wolverhampton is a British university. It goes back to the created in 1931, " Wolverhampton and Staffordshire Technical College ".

The University in its present form was created in 1969 after merging with the local art school. There are four areas of University City, Compton, Walsall, Telford and ten schools. Of the approximately 23,000 students are 30.4% Asians or blacks and 15 % foreigners. Most students come from the immediate vicinity of the University. Birmingham is only 10 miles away.

Training in the field of health professions is done in cooperation with the New Cross Hospital.
