The Useless (also called Unnutze ) are a mountain range northeast of Lake Achen Achen between Kirch and Steinberg am Achensee in the Brandenberg Alps in Tyrol, Austria.

The massif consists of three peaks and runs in a north -south direction. The peaks of the rear Useless (2007 m), the high Useless ( 2075 m ) and the front Useless ( 2078 m). In general, however, the front is called Useless Useless.

Increases

The Useless be ascended from Steinberg about the Steinberger Kotalm in three hours. The ascent is possible from Kögljochsattel in one and a quarter hours and Achenkirch on the Reineralm in four hours.
