Ural–Altaic languages

The Ural- Altaic language group (also: Ural - Altaic theory ) was the result of scientific research into a possible genetic relationship between the Altaic and Uralic languages, which seemed possible. The idea came up during the early investigation phase of the Altaic languages. The Ural- Altaic theory is today completely rejected by the scientific side. Nevertheless, there are some connections between the Uralic and Altaic languages ​​, which show historical ties.
