Uroš Kovačević

Uroš Kovačević ( Serbian Cyrillic Урош Ковачевић; born May 6, 1993 in Kraljevo, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) is a Serbian volleyball player.

Career

Kovačević began his career in 2003 at Ribnica Kraljevo. In 2010 he joined the Slovenian first division ACH Volley Ljubljana. 2011 won the outside attacker with the Serbian junior at the World Cup and the European Championship of youth; this he was awarded the Most Valuable Player. In the same year he played with the senior national team at the European Championships, where she won the final against Italy also the title. Because of these successes, he was honored by the Olympic Committee as the best young athletes. 2012 was Uroš Kovačević together with his older brother Nikola in the official squad of the Serbs for the Olympic Games in London.
