Ursula Caberta

Ursula Caberta y Diaz ( born March 22, 1950 in Hamburg ) is a German politician (former SPD and WASG ) and former head of the Hamburg Scientology Task Force and the Supreme Youth Authority.

Ursula Caberta has a degree in Economics. She is divorced and has one daughter.

Policy

Ursula Caberta y Diaz from 1986 to 1992 member of the Hamburg Parliament. There she sat as a Member of the SPD for their group in the Legal Affairs Committee, Health Committee and the Committee on the equality of women. In September 2001, she resigned from the SPD.

In 2004, she joined the WASG. In the 2005 federal election, she stood as a candidate on the national list of Hamburg on 2nd place but you missed the entry into parliament. She left the WASG in February 2007 in protest at the approach to the PDS.

She sees her most important political work in the study of Scientology. She was also from 1992 to 2010 the head of the " Working Group on Scientology " in Hamburg's authority and had to be there in court with the Church of Scientology to deal with. Mass media such as Der Spiegel or the ZDF they have taken as a commentator in Scientology topics. She was also Head of the existing since 2001 Supreme Youth Authority for the protection of minors with regard to new and ideological communities and psycho-groups, which are also part of Hamburg's authority. In her role as a cult expert Ursula Caberta wrote in 2002 a multi-page " comment" to review the founders Andreas Hortmann Psycho Group, the former so-called " Institute of Spiritual Psychology " ISP in Wiesbaden. On August 1, 2007, she called for a ban of Scientology organization, since these was operating against the state and obviously strive by their presence in Berlin to direct influence. 2010, the Working Group Scientology was closed and Caberta was Ministerialreferentin for new religious and ideological communities and psycho-groups. 2013 she finished her work at the Hamburg administration.
