Ursula of Brandenburg

Ursula von Brandenburg (* October 17, 1488 in Berlin, † September 18, 1510 in Güstrow ) was a princess of Brandenburg and by marriage Duchess of Mecklenburg.

Life

Ursula was the youngest daughter of the Brandenburg Elector John Cicero (1455-1499) from his marriage to Margaret (1449-1501), daughter of Duke Wilhelm III. of Saxony.

They married on February 16, 1507 Duke Henry V of Mecklenburg ( 1479-1552 ). She died shortly after the birth of her third child three years after the marriage.

Ursula was buried together with her son, as the last deceased in the funeral chapel of the Doberan Minster.

From their marriage Ursula had the following children:
