Urszula Kasprzak

Urszula Kasprzak ( born February 7, 1960 in Lublin ) is a Polish Rock-/Pop-Sängerin, which is better than Urszula known.

Life

As a child, Urszula played piano and accordion. She also attended the Lublin songs studies (studies Piosenki ). In 1977 she took as an amateur at the Festival of Soviet Songs ( Festiwal Piosenki Radzieckiej ) in Zielona Góra part. She won the top prize, the Golden Samovar with the song Kopciuszek ( Cinderella )

In 1978 she took part in the debut concert of the famous festivals in Poland of Polish song in Opole, without much success.

Urszula stopped singing and began studying at the Maria Curie -Skłodowska University in Lublin. She was invited to the 1980 Song Contest to Sopot Festival to sing along as a supporter. At the same time, together with the late frontman of the group Klincz Ryszard Kniat, in Poznan took six songs. She also supported the children's songs singer in the choir at Majka Majka Jeżowska first plate.

The year 1981/1982 was breaking through for Urszula. Romuald Lipko, the frontman still to this day very popular group Budka Suflera composed a few songs for Urszula. They were on 15 June 1982, at Poznań's Studio of Polish Radio ( Polskie Radio ) added: mirage '82, Bogowie i demony ( gods and demons ) and Luz blues w niebie same dziury (loose blues, sky full of holes). With mirage '82, which ran in the third program of the radio Urszula rose in July 1982 within a week in the charts of the transmitter.

In the years 1983-1987 Urszula worked with the group Budka Suflera. However, it should be emphasized that it was never the vocalist of the group. It was always said at the concerts " Urszula and / accompanied by Budka Suflera ".

1983 came out the first plate Urszula. The young artist was also successful abroad: she won second place at the Festival of the Baltic States in the Swedish Karlsham, and they got the price of the magazine Mlada fronta at the festival Intertalent'83 in Prague. Her song Dmuchawce, latawce, wiatr ( " lion teeth, kites, wind ") was at the Polish Radio and Television "Biggest Hit of the Year" competition.

In 1984, a feature film debut for Urszula. She played herself in the movie Alabama Ryszard Rydzewski. Together with Budka Suflera she wore songs from the plate before Malinowy król.

In the spring of 1985 came too late for the planned 1984 second album out - Malinowy Król ( " raspberry -colored king "). In the same year Urszula appeared in the musical Żeglując w dobry czas by Katarzyna Gaertner, and in the film Och Karol by Roman Zaluski. The Movie Song Baw mnie ( Amuse Me ), sung along with Seweryn Krajewski, was the next hit.

In 1986 the third album Urszula appeared 3 again this year Urszula played in a movie - the TV detective series Na Klopoty Bednarski by Paweł Karpiński. Furthermore, she met her future husband Stanisław Zybowski know.

In February 1987, Urszula went on a tour in the United States. There they joined, among others, at the Beacon Theatre on Broadway, at the Red Parrot ( known disco in Manhattan), the Polish Club Polonez in Chicago, in Cardinale Club, as well as at universities in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Detroit, Chicago, New York and Boston. She brought in the same year her first son Piotr to the world.

1988 Urszula returned back to Poland in 1989 and brought the first Polish CD of popular music The Best of Urszula & Budka Suflera out, which was taken at the Rock Studio, New York. In Poland, their last record Czwarty raz yet appeared ( The fourth time ), which was recorded without Budka Suflera. Urszulas husband was the producer. On this album, Urszula sings for the first time their own texts. In the same year, she makes music with the group Klincz.

In 1989, Urszula at the concert " Polska Promocja " on the international song festival in Sopot on - here, however, with a new band Jumbo, whose front man was her husband Stanisław.

The years 1990-1994 spent Urszula in the U.S., where she performed for Polish and American audiences. In Poland, even she was a bit more into oblivion. The next albums appeared during this period: Urszula & Jumbo (1992 ) Best of Budka Suflera & Urszula ( 1992) and Greatest Hits of Urszula (1992 ) for the 10th anniversary of the artist.

A Back Urszula found in 1994, when she accompanied the group Budka Suflera on their U.S. tour. She came back to Poland. Their new album Biała droga, presented on 21 March 1996 at the Club Tango, was enthusiastically received and rapidly for the golden plate, and later platinum. Urszula occurred in Opole and Sopot, also took part in the concert " Przystanek Woodstock ", which had been organized for 30,000 listeners at an airport near Stettin. During the performances, she collected material for the album Urszula akustycznie ( Urszula - Acoustic ), which premiered on December 6, 1996.

The presented on 23 November 1998 plate supernova soon became platinum.

On 26 April 2001, the long-awaited plate Udar appeared ( attack). On August 25, during the Sopot Festival, Urszula was honored with the Bernsteinnachtigal ( Bursztynowy Słowik ), can the highest prize awarded to this festival.

In November 2001, died of cancer patients her husband Stanisław, Urszula continued her music career but continued.

On 17 June 2002, the double album The Best, with Urszula had prepared with her husband on the 20th anniversary appeared. This was for the golden plate.

Before Christmas 2002, the first Christmas song album Urszulas appeared - as a supplement to women's magazine Przyjaciolka.

After the death of the husband Urszula entered into a relationship with Tomasz Kujawski, who in 2003 was the father of her second son Szymon in May.
