Uwe Bracht

Uwe Bracht (* July 10, 1953 ) is a former German football player.

Career

Bracht came from the youth of the ATS Buntentor, then switched to the A- Youth for SV Werder Bremen. He made ​​the jump to the Amateuermannschaft Bremer 1971 and received a professional contract. Bracht managed in the 1980s made ​​it into the German B- team and was coach Otto Rehhagel to important players personality. In 1983, Bracht was seriously injured and had to end his professional career prematurely after the 1983/84 season. He moved to the Amateur Football first to VfB Oldenburg, then as a player-manager for Bremer SV. From 1986 to 1988 Uwe Bracht played under coach Hartmut Konschal for TSV Verden ( now FC Verden 04) in the fifth division of Lower Saxony and Lower Saxony was twice Cup winners. In the first round of the DFB Cup, he retired with the TSV Verden 1987 against SV Werder Bremen and 1988 against Rot -Weiss Essen. Then Bracht moved to Schleswig -Holstein and played for TSV North Harrislee in the fifth division.

After ending his playing career Bracht worked as a coach. Among other things, he coached youth teams of DGF Flensburg, which at times played in the highest youth classes. Today he trains the youth of Flensburg C 08

Bracht is married and has a son. He lives in Flensburg.
