Uwe Mares

Uwe Mares ( born May 8, 1942 in Hamburg ) is a former German sailors.

Mares was also the World Champion title in 1974 and the European Championship 1975 in Tempest win at Kiel Week next seven wins. He also took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976, where he took fifth place in the 5.5 is and a fourth place in the Tempest. Later, he was national coach of the Olympic Star boat team at the Games in 1992 and 1996. Since 2009 he has served as coach of the team Rotoman.
