Uwe Schneider

Uwe Schneider ( born August 28, 1971) is a former German football player.

With the VfB Stuttgart Schneider was German A- Junior Champion 1988/89. He completed 99 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart (1991-1994), VfL Bochum (1994 /95) and Eintracht Frankfurt ( 1998-2000). His most successful period he experienced at VfB Stuttgart, with whom he under German coach Christoph Daum was champion in the 1991/92 season. This was also his only season in which he played more than half of the top-flight.

He completed 32 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, one season at Hannover 96 and 1 FC Nuremberg. Then Schneider was three years in the Regionalliga Süd VfR Aalen active, for which he scored two goals in 42 games.

After the active career

Since 2008 he is director of sport at the Oberliga FC 08 Villingen.

On 9 May 2008 Kristijan Djordjevic coach did not occur until the end of the season, 10 May 2008 then with immediate effect from his current contract until 2011 as coach of FC 08 Villingen back. Then Schneider took over until season's end, in collaboration with assistant coach Peter Grütering, training.
