V-Label

The V- Label is a uniform seal of approval by the European Vegetarian Union identification of vegetarian products and services. The label is also called Vegi - label and vegetarian label.

Area of ​​application

Most famous is the V-label currently in Switzerland and the Netherlands. But even in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic and Spain it is funded by the local vegetarian organizations.

The distribution is thus still varies widely in Europe. Apart from the Italian Vegetarierorganisaton, the label is recognized by all European Vegetarian organizations as labeling for vegetarian products and services.

Licensor in Germany is the vegetarian covenant Germany.

Criteria

Goods

Products which are excellent with the V-label may not contain animal body components of any kind. This also refers to hidden, non declarable processing aid means, such as Calf rennet in cheese or gelatin in fruit juices.

Services

The restaurant industry, which are excellent with the V-label, must
