V8 vegetable juice is one of the best known brands in the United States.
Is produced " V8" since 1933 by W. G. Peacock (1896-1948), founder of the New England Products Company, later by the Campbell Soup Company. V8 is the acronym of Vegetable 8, which means as much that this drink is made up of eight vegetables. The juice is made up of the vegetables, tomatoes, beetroot, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsley, watercress and spinach together.
The main component is 87% of the tomato juice, which is colored and flavored by a concentrate of other vegetables.
