Václav Vochoska

Václav Vochoska ( born July 26, 1955 in České Budějovice ) is a former Czechoslovak rower who won two Olympic bronze medals.

At the Olympic Games in 1976, the Czechoslovak sculls with Jaroslav Hellenbrand, Václav Vochoska, Zdeněk Pecka and Vladek Lacina finished in third place behind the boats from the GDR and the Soviet Union. 1977 reached the quadruple sculls with Karel Cerny, Filip Koudela, Václav Vochoska and Zdeněk Pecka at the World Championships in second place behind the sculls from the GDR in 1978 occupied Vochoska, Pecka, Koudela and Lacina fourth place.

1979 changed Vochoska and Pecka in the double sculls; at the World Championships in Bled, they won silver behind the Norwegian brothers Frank and Alf Hansen. Because of the Olympic boycott, the two Norwegians were at the Olympic Games in 1980 not at the start; it won the boat from the GDR before the Yugoslavs Vochoska and Pecka received their second bronze medal. Your last medal they won the Czechoslovaks at the world championships in 1982 when they left the boats from Norway ( Alf Hansen and Rolf Thorsen ) and the GDR ( Klaus Kröppelien and Joachim Dreifke ) as a third party reached the target. After Pečkovský resignation Vochoska went to the World Championships in 1985 with Jiri Jakoubek, finishing in seventh place.
