Vadim Epanchintsev

Vadim Sergeyevich Jepantschinzew (Russian Вадим Сергеевич Епанчинцев; born March 16, 1976 in Orsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player.

Career

Vadim Jepantschinzew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Yuzhny Ural Orsk, for the first team he was in the 1992/93 season his debut in the 1992/93 season his debut in the Russian second division. Then, the center played four years for the HK Spartak Moscow - first in the International Hockey League and in the 1996/97 season in its successor competition, the Super League. The 1997/98 season spent in the Russian North America, where he was active for the Cleveland Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League and the Hampton Roads Admirals in the ECHL.

From 1998 to 2000 stood at Metallurg Novokuznetsk Jepantschinzew in the Super League under contract. In the following years, the former youth international players in the Super League has established itself as a regular player and played until 2006 for Severstal Cherepovets, Ak Bars Kazan and Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast. In the 2003 /04 season he was playing for Ak Bars Kazan with a plus / minus score of 29 league -leading in this classification. From 2006 to 2009 he stood for the capital club HK CSKA Moscow under contract, with which he participated in the Continental Hockey League game at the newly founded first operation of the Super League and in the 2008/ 09 season.

The 2009/10 season began Jepantschinzew at HK Dynamo Moscow. This he left after 36 missions in which he scored two goals and had eleven templates in January 2010 and signed a contract with his former club from Mytischtschi, who had changed his name from Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik in Atlant Mytischtschi 2008. The following season he started at KHL rivals Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, but returned after only two matches played in September 2010 back to Atlant Mytischtschi. There, he finished his career in April 2011.

Internationally

For Russia Jepantschinzew took at junior level at the U18 European Junior Championships in 1994 and the Junior World Cup in 1995 and 1996 in part. In the first two tournaments he won with his team the silver medal, respectively; 1996 Jepantschinzew could also decorate the bronze medal.
