Vadim Jean

Vadim Jean ( born December 9, 1963 in Bristol ) is a British film director and producer.

Life and work

After studying history at the University of Warwick Vadim Jean worked in the film industry and in 1989 founded his own production company.

For Leon the Pig Farmer 1992 he received the International Critics' Prize of the Film Festival of Venice and the Chaplin Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

In 1994 he received both the London Critics Circle Film Awards in the category Best British youth training and the Evening Standard British Film Award for Most Promising the youth academy.
