Vaqazin (also Vagazin, Vaghazin; Armenian Վաղազին, Waghasin; Russian Вахазин or Вагазин ) is a place in Azerbaijan in the district Laçin. Vaqazin located in since May 1992 occupied by the Armenian army and managed by the internationally unrecognized Republic of Nagorno- Karabakh region. The Nagorno-Karabakh authorities arranged the village to the district ( Schrdschan ) Kaschatach. According to the census in the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh in 2005 the city had 72 inhabitants, including 58 in the capital and a total of 14 in the three settlements Ardschadsor, Martiros and Meghraschen.
