Vagif Javadov

Vaqif Fizuli oglu Cavadov ( in Germany usually Vagif Cavadov, also Javadov and Djavadov; born May 25, 1989 in Baku ) is an Azerbaijani footballer.

Beginnings in Moscow

Cavadov is born in the Azerbaijani city of Baku. At 7, he started playing in one of the football teams football. Then he went at the age of 11 years for CSKA Moscow, where he was often used as a striker. After playing through all the youth departments of CSKA, he received his first professional contract in July 2006. Qarabağ Aghdam

Thanks to good performances at FK Qarabağ Agdam and at the World Cup Qualifiers 2010 he moved end of December 2009 for 250,000 euros to the Flemish first division side FC Twente Enschede. There Cavadov signed a four year contract until June 2013. However, he came in the 8 months Enschede injury never used. With Twente he was the 2009/10 Dutch champion and winner of the Johan Cruijff - Schaal - 2010. The contract with Twente end of June 2011 was resolved after Cavadov had already played ten months at FK Baku.

FK Baku

30 August 2010 Twente Cavadov gave the aserbaidschischen club FK Baku for one year.

National

Cavadov played from 2002 to 2004 for the Azerbaijan U-17 national team, where he played 7 games. In 2005, he was Under-21 national team of Azerbaijan, where he in 2008 thanks to good performances at Qarabağ Aghdam acted for regular players and shot 4 goals in 11 games. On 18 May 2006 Cavadov debuted in the senior team in the match against Moldova that ended 0-0. He scored one of his goals in the qualifier against Russia, which ended sensationally 1:1.

Caused a stir Cavadov on 7 September 2010 in the match against Germany, as he inflicted Per Mertesacker an orbital fracture. In this game, he also scored his sixth international goal when he turned a corner directly.
