Vahanga

Vahanga is an atoll of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. The atoll belongs all atolls of the Actéon group administratively to the municipality of Gambier.

The atoll is approximately 5 km west of Tenarunga, lagoon Vahangas has no access to the sea. The atoll is including lagoon and reef 12.58 km ². The land area is 3.82 km ². There is an airfield.

Vahanga is completely covered with coconut palms, it also provides a rich bird life.
