Vakhtang Blagidze

Vakhtang Blagidse (Georgian ვახტანგ ბლაგიძე; born July 23, 1954 in Tschotschchati at Lantschchuti, Guria ) is a former Soviet wrestler. He was Olympic champion in 1980 in Moscow and multiple world and European champion in wrestling in the Greco-Roman flyweight.

Career

Vakhtang Blagidse comes from Georgia. He started as a teenager with rings and has been delegated by the first major successes in the field of youth wrestlers center Tbilisi.
