Valdas Trakys

Valdas Trakys ( born March 20, 1979 in Kretinga ) is a Lithuanian footballer. He currently plays for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League. He is a multiple of Lithuanian national team.

Career

Trakys began his career in 1995 for FK Panerys Vilnius from 1997 to 1999, he played for FK Zalgiris Kaunas. In 2000 he then moved to Russia to Torpedo Moscow, two years later Trakys moved again, this time for Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður. In the second half he played in Italy for AC Perugia, before playing in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2003/04 season for SpVgg Greuther Fuerth and VfL Osnabrueck. FK Kuban Krasnodar was his next stop in the second half of 2004. In 2005 he went back to Lithuania to Atlantas Klaipeda, played from July until the end of the year for FC Orel in Russia and then moved for half a year to Atlantas Klaipeda. As of July 2007, he played a year in Azerbaijan for FK Baku İnter before it again went back to Lithuania Ekranas Panevezys, where he spent two years in total.

1999 Trakys was Lithuanian champions FK Zalgiris Kaunas with. This track he could pick again with Ekranas Panevezys 2009. He was also top scorer in the A Lyga this year.
