Valentin Ferdinandovich Asmus

Valentin Petrovich Ferdinando Asmus ( kyr. Валентин Фердинандович Асмус; * 18 Dezemberjul / December 30 1894greg in Kiev, .. † June 4, 1975 in Moscow) was a Russian philosopher, logician and historian of logic. He belonged to the small group of Soviet philosophers who continued the classical European philosophy during the first ten years after the October Revolution in the USSR. He was the author of one of the first textbooks of traditional logic with the "logic" of title which was published in the time of the Soviet Union ( 1947).
