Valentina Artemyeva

Valentina Evgenevna Artemjewa (Russian Валентина Евгеньевна Артемьева, scientific transliteration Valentina Evgen'evna Artem'eva; born December 8, 1986 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian swimmer chest.

Artemjewa occurs the first time in November 2008, with the Russian Short Course Championships in Moscow into the international spotlight when she over 50 meters and 100 meters breaststroke each set a new European record.

In the subsequent short course 2008 European Championships in Rijeka, she could then each secure a European title over these same distances. About 50 meters breaststroke, she improved her own European record ibid two more times before it in St. Petersburg this record pressed a week later again.

Your first major international success on the long course, she celebrated by reaching the third place at the Mare Nostrum swimming series in June 2009.
