Valerie Viehoff

Valerie Viehoff ( born February 16, 1976 in Bonn ) is a retired German rower who won an Olympic silver medal in 2000.

Valerie Viehoff launched for the Siegburger RV. The Leichtgewichtsruderin won in 1994 at the Junior World Championships in the quadruple sculls. 1997 and 2002 she was German champion in One, 2000, she won along with Claudia Blasberg in the double sculls.

At the World Championships in Cologne in 1998 she won along with Anna Kleinzadel, Christine and Nicole Morawitz fist in the quadruple sculls, which Morawietz and fist could defend her title from last year. 1999 Valerie Viehoff approached at the World Championships in One, finishing in fourth place. For the 2000 Olympics, she joined in the double sculls to Claudia Blasberg, the only Olympic boat class for Leichtgewichtsskullerinnen. Behind the Romanians Constanta Burcică and Angela Alupei won Blasberg and Viehoff the silver medal.
