Vallis Baade

The Vallis Baade is a Moon Valley on the western edge of the moon front that extends over a distance of over 200 kilometers, starting from the small crater Bouvard D, northeast of the crater Baade (crater ) to the southwest and ends at the crater Inghirami K.

The valley runs as the Vallis Bouvard, as a continuation you can see it, or approximately parallel Vallis Inghirami radially away from the large impact basins Mare Orientale.

The name after the crater Baade, which in turn is named after the German astronomer Walter Baade, was awarded in 1964 by the IAU.
