Vanessa Raw

Vanessa Raw ( born September 28, 1984 in Hexham ) is an English professional triathlete, member of the British Olympic Triathlon Academy Squad and academic artist. She lives in Loughborough and is coached by Tom Bennett.

In the five years from 2006 to 2010 Vanessa Raw took part in 26 ITU competitions and achieved eight times Top ten places, including three medals.

After their entry into the international triathlon in 2006, Vanessa Raw was struggling with a knee injury and only had to strike a balance between top-level sport, study and artistic find employment. Since 2009, after the completion of the study of art at the University of Loughborough, Vanessa Raw is to find on ITU podiums.
