History

Varengold was founded in 1995, among other Yasin Sebastian Qureshi and Steffen Fix. In the center of the business since the company is the derivatives brokerage services as well as in the field of alternative investments.

1998 Varengold received the credit institution permission by the then Federal Supervisory Office for the credit. The Bank is registered with the Federal Financial since 2003, in June 2013 Varengold was granted a license as a deposit-taking institution.

Varengold Bank AG is part of the compensation scheme German banks.

Since 20 March 2007, the Varengold shares are listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the Entry Standard market segment.
