Vasa syndrome

As Vasa syndrome is a communication problem is referred to in management and marketing circles that leads to the failure of an entire project. The term is based on the history of the Swedish warship Vasa, which sank during its maiden voyage in the 17th century because it was too unstable. The instability is attributed to massive communication problems between the commissioner, the Swedish king Gustav II Adolf of Sweden, the shipbuilder Henrik Hybertsson and exporting craftsmen.
